3 Actionable Strategies to Boost Sales During Slow Summer Days for Aestheticians

Welcome to the Aesthetician Coach Blog. I'm happy your here. I'm sharing some strategies to help you get clients in the door this week.


While summer can be a slower time in the aesthetics industry, there are things you can do to build your books. I want to encourage you to keep going! Keep doing the work. The busy season is just around the corner. 


Action Steps for Slower Summer Days: 


  1. Call/text/email: Take a look at your client list and pull those clients that haven’t been in to see you in 90 days or more and reach out to them and offer an incentive for booking with you this week. For example: a free dermaplane, a free brow wax, lymphatic drainage, 10% off a facial. Something that will cost you little to add on and not add additional time to the treatment. 


Action Step: Reach out to 5-10 clients this week! 


  1. Upsell your current clients: This is a great way to bring additional revenue into your spa. For example: aromatherapy, masks, dermaplaning, brow wax & tint, eye or lip mask, led light therapy, microcurrent, oxygen facial, cryo-globes add on. 


Action Step: Tell every client that you see in the next 3-4 weeks about 1 or more add on that you offer and ask them to upgrade. 


  1. Social Media Posts: This is a perfect time to work on your social media game. For example: create some educational posts about your favorite products and treatments, create or share a funny aesthetician meme, re-purpose some of your older content and videos. 


Action Step: Create a weekly social media plan and commit to posting 3x’s a week on the days that you are working. Plan out your posts in advance to make this easier.
